Tank Inspections

Tanks store materials across industries like power, oil and gas, and many more.

During operation, storage tanks can experience a variety of damage mechanisms such as loss of coatings, corrosive contents, and corrosion under insulation.  If left unchecked, storage tank failures can cause regulatory fines, costly remediation, and an acute loss of capacity. Regularly scheduled inspections will prevent tank failure, but equipment limitations and the costs of access limit the operator’s ability to identify and assess damaged areas.

Gecko robots are uniquely equipped to provide a number of targeted solutions for the needs of each tank.  We cover up to 150 square feet per minute, and can perform any of the following inspections internally, or externally.
